How could I forget?????
Abby and John! Thanks again for inviting me into your home to continue to take your family pictures. It has been a privileged to see how your boys have grown over the years.
Busy, Busy, Busy!
Lots going on since my last post. I had the opportunity to photography Julie and her wonderful family. I actually was able to meet with them twice which was a treat for me. We took some nice family portraits and the next evening I joined them at Tarpon Pointe to capture her parents celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They are a wonderful family with a great love for one another.
I also did a photo session for some teachers at Cape Elementary. They came out very nicely and everyone seems to be pleased. I was happy to be able to do something for the teachers when they do so much for our children.
Friday I will be meeting with Jackie and her family who will be down visiting for the holiday. I am sure that we will have nice weather for some beautiful sunset beach pictures.
Of course there will be turkey gobbling on Thursday along with lots of picture taking.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Wedding at Pink Shell
On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Annie and Jon’s wedding at Pink Shell. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was fantastic! I highly recommend Pink Shell to anyone looking for a beautiful beach wedding. Check back soon for photos to be posted!
Downtown Fort Myers with Mary
Last Thursday I met with Mary downtown. She is quite an amazing woman with many passions; having her picture taken is definitely not one of them! Every time I raised my camera I swear I saw her cringe! Fortunately, Mary is quite photogenic and we got some really nice shots. We had a great time and I got to tell Mary a few stories that she seemed to get a kick out of. Now all we have to do is narrow down the list of pictures that she likes, it’s not going to be easy!
Oh Boy! Another year starting!
Well, big surprise, I am not the best at keep up this whole blogging thing. I keep thinking, will anyone actually even look at it? It doesn’t seem like I have much interesting to say. Certainly not more interesting than a favorite show. So now, instead of the drab boring posts I am going to just write what I am actually thinking.
For the few people that may actually stop and read, let me know, I’ll throw you a free beach sitting.
I feel life has calmed down a little bit. Summer was insane, it went by in the blink of an eye. We had a surprise 60th birthday party for my mother. Hopefully she doesn’t read this, she wouldn’t be too thrilled that I announced her age on a website. We spent most of the summer in New York and Massachusetts. It was a great time. My girls are the perfect age to do that kind of thing with. They are 6 & 8. I really can’t believe how quickly they are growing up. I know it sounds so cliche, I knew it would happen this way but never in my wildest dreams did I actually think it would be this fast! And yes, I know they are still babies but good lord, if this keeps up the will be moving out next week!
Well, I have more insanity that I can put down but I think I will wait…ease you into the craziness that is my mind. Until then, keep shooting yourselves (pictures that is) and let me know if you are in need of a new family portrait…this time will be gone before you know it!
Please check out my new website, I still have a few bugs to work out but I am still excited to share it! Thanks!
